I travel all around Europe for my work as a hotel E-business & E-marketing consultant, trying to do my best in order to help hotels increase direct sales, but also trying to make Hoteliers understand the very big importance of Web 2.0. People that look for a hotel check more and more websites before making a reservation, they compare, ask for recommendations and/or advice from their social media friends.
It is true that nowadays, all those websites (Booking, Venere, Tripadvisor, etc…), where one can compare the rate of a hotel and check the comments, it always goes one way. The people that have stayed or not (in case of Tripadvisor) will be able to leave a comment about their stay in the hotel. However you never get to see what the hotelier has to say about its product and about the comment. It is kind of unfair in one way.
So I had this Idea of giving the possibility to hoteliers to post their hotel on this Blog, in order for them to introduce their product to the readers. (Hoteliers will have to send me their post which I will add to the blog and the right category!)
We, as readers and bloggers that we are, will be ‘hopefully’ interested to go and stay in those hotels! After what we can reply and comment about the hoteliers post.
The last idea of this new Blog is to create a hotel community, in which Hoteliers really speak with their guests, future guests and where guests really speak with the Hoteliers.
